Neil served as Director of Coaching, Executive Director and many other leadership roles in his time at numerous Charlotte area clubs. After his time at Charlotte United, Carolina Rapids and Charlotte Independence he chose to put his coaching credentials aside and move into a league executive role that he remains in to this day. Neil was born and raised in England and moved to the United States in 1982 to play for legendary coach Bob Warming at UNC Charlotte. A 25 year coaching career included coaching players of state, regional and national level as well as teams competing for regional and national championships. Neil and his wife Sameth have two children, Madisen and Emma.
